The
G-150 is a new high-tech small two-man submarine with an operational
depth of 150 feet (50m), designed for one pilot and one passengers.
Built to ABS classification rules. Also available as a custom build
three person.
Selling

This
superbly constructed submarine has all the components you would expect:
Surface
buoyancy tanks (4) with 2000L capacity.
Trim
tanks with high-pressure trim pump for adjusting buoyancy, and for adjusting
roll-trim.
Lead
trim weight (150kg) giving the craft 16-degrees nose up or down as required.
Lead
drop weight.
Power
supply from a lead acid battery (68vdc/130Ah).
Forward
and aft hydroplanes, with aft rudder.
A
sophisticated control system, consisting of a PLC (programmable logic
controller) manages the electrically operated solenoid valves, pneumatic
actuators, stepper motors, encoders and electrical power systems.
All
main control options are on a joystick control, positioned so that both
crewmembers can operate the submarine. The MMI displays depth, internal
pressure, CO2, O2, trim values, and main variable buoyancy.
All
control functions sensors and actuators are connected to the PLC, where
all functions are controlled through the resident computer. Thus ensuring
that all submarine operations are within the set safety parameters.
Manual over-ride is available if required.
Main thruster motor (4kw, brushed DC, running at 900rpm) drives a three-bladed
propeller in a Kort nozzle. This gives a maximum speed of 4Kts.
Main
pressure hull constructed from carbon steel, hot zinc sprayed and finished
with an epoxy paint system. The pressure vessel is torispherical in
configuration, with a volume of 1500L. All other structural components
are 316 stainless steel.
Seating
is side by side with viewing through acrylic domes (ASME PVHO1). These
are also used as access hatches.
All
fairings, stability fins, and surface buoyancy tanks are manufactured
from glass-reinforced plastic.
Maximum
freeboard on the surface is 700mm.
HP
Air Supply. External cylinders (4) 232bar, 15L capacity, divided into
main and reserve systems.
Life
support for 3 days. Oxygen carried internally as well as CO2 absorbent
One electric scrubber for CO2 removal.
Air
conditioning / heater / dehumidifier unit.
