PC-1805
research submersible was the last deep submersible built by Perry, the
most prolific builder of manned submersibles to date. The submersible
was delivered to Shell Exploration in 1984 at a cost of $3.2 million.
The 1000 foot capable submersible has a large diver lock out chamber
and can carry 40,000 cubic feet of mixed gas. It is fully equipped with
manipulators, cameras, etc. The submersible is for sale for at an exceptional
